HELLO! My website is our communication tool designed to provide my Itinerant families with the needed general information for the school year.
I am Mrs. Donna Freude your child's Akron Public Schools Itinerant Special Education teacher. My role is to be "keeper "of your child's Individual Educational Program (IEP), provide consulation to Head Start teachers and staff, and to assist your child to be successful in his/her least restrictive enviroment. The Ohio Department of Education defines Itinerant services as..."services provided by preschool special education teachers or related services personnel which occur in the setting where the child or the child and parent(s) is located as opposed to providing services at a centralized location".
